Bend The Knee Dragon Coat took 20 months to complete.  It weighs 7+ pounds.  It is knitted with 41 skeins (36 colors) of Malabrigo Rios yarn.  This full length coat features the head of a dragon on the front complete with scales and tail.
Fading Fast was a challenge from the start due to the beautiful independent dye differences from one skein to another. Knitted with yarn rock star: Miss Babbs Keira Coffee Break. The name of the yarn is somewhat fitting in that much of this piece was knitted in a nearby coffee shop I like to hang out in.
Waves & Whirlpools was a fun challenge to create! A real one-of-a-kind sweater vest. From the flowing neck border band to the woven whirlpool on the center back - you'll never see anything like this vest knitted entirely with Dragonfly Fibers Traveller 100% Merino wool yarns . It took 5 months to complete.
Awards: Best of Show in Wearable Art Category at Fiber Forward Exhibit, Pittsburg, 2018.
The Embraceable Loop Wrap is made with lovely independently dyed Dragonfly fibers yarn. It has knitted into the armholes, middle back and neck edge a gorgeous cable called: Embraceable Loop that shows off the yarn very nicely.
One of my first designs, created in 2008. This piece is literally "a coat of many colors" knitted from soft merino wool and acrylic yarns. A strong cable runs down the shoulder and the arms and borders the piece. SOLD
This sampler vest had its beginnings "on the run" as I was headed out the door to catch a flight to San Antonio. I pulled two contrasting yarns together quickly and I loved the result. On the back is incorporated a small beaded item lovingly created by Janet Edkins.
The 4-Seasons Cape is made of mohair, wool, and cashmere.  Just over 300 pin loom squares were randomly sewn together to create a 60inch circular cape.  The striking ruff of the neck is knitted from local farm raised cashmere goats and surrounded by hand-spun wool and locks. SOLD
